Sierra Nevada Glissade Golden Bock

I have never really been impressed with Sierra Nevada's offerings. The brewery based out of Chico, CA is probably best know for their pale ale. Glissade Golden Bock is their spring seasonal release, and is most defiantly the best entry of theirs I have had. It is, as the name suggests, golden in color. It has a nice mellow flavor balanced with a nice bit of bitterness. I found it to be very drinkable, something I could have easily slugged down had I not intended to savor the flavor. Though I do give it praises for being Sierra Nevada's best beer, it still was overly impressive. I do recommend Glissade if you are a fan of bocks, and the price range isn't bad when you can find it on sale. Sierra Nevada Glissade Golden Bock comes in at a 6.4 abv. I give it 6 out of 10, drinkable but doesn't overly impress.

Cheers!
